Passengers woke up from their nightmares to embrace the biggest nightmare of their lives. They had minutes left to live according to the British Airways in flight announcement.

So the crew on British Airways couldn’t really make any announcement themselves? They had to play a previously recorded message from the computer to make the announcement. Then they realized they had played the wrong message. Really? Why? Is it because the British Airways crew cannot master the English language?

HeRRo, British Airways! Apparently, your in fRight service is really frightening.

May I make a food suggestion here? Could you expand your in flight menu selections? Next time I really would like to see flied lice on the menu, okay? Thank you.

American Airlines Won Something This Time after Bankruptcy

Yes!!! Thank you, Middle Seat, for your unbiased and accurate analysis. And congratulations to the American Airlines for the latest and well deserved bankruptcy.

I still remembered my fond memories with American Airlines although I have stopped flying them since 1998.

We boarded a flight in Vancouver, BC after a long flight from Taipei. We had a carry-on full of easily breakable items. However, by the time we got on the plane, there was no storage space left. We practically begged the flight attendant to find some space and explained that the items in the carry-on were fragile. Did you think she cared? Of course not. She rudely said no without even trying. Well, after 13 years, her fabulous service finally contributed to the airlines bankruptcy and the worst airlines award. Good for her. I know American Airlines is so happy to have her.

Say Bye Bye to Kodak

Kodak is to file bankruptcy. Last I checked, their stock was traded at 45 cents a share. Can you believe if people do hold onto their stocks and hope someday the price will come back up?

And how nice of Kodak! At least, they wait till after the holidays to announce the bad news.

Looks like Kodak can no longer share any moments or life with us, and they certainly could not care less.

Who shops at Sears really? I went in once a couple of months ago and it was dark and old. They couldn’t put more lights in the store?

Oh yes. I am so happy today. Let me go to Sears so I can get depressed.

I am surprised they are still alive. And poor Floridians!!! Now you just have to go to these crummy stores to shop like Macy’s, Nordstrom, or even the ridiculous Neiman Marcus. My sincere condolence to you all.

Put Soy Sauce in Your Rice. It Is Good for Your Baby.

I have been having this nasty cold for weeks. Finally, I am able to get my nose back to breathe normally. But I still can’t get rid of the cough. I went to the doctor a week before last Friday. Dr. Lee was her name. My regular doctor was fully booked and I didn’t want to wait another 3 days to see him. Since she was available, so I said I’d take it. Well, once I got to the office, talked to the nurse, then she said, “You will see two doctors today. Dr. Lee and Dr. Pang. Dr. Lee is an intern. She’ll see you first. Then Dr. Pang will come and talk to you to make sure everything is alright.” What am I supposed to say? Now you are telling me Lee is an intern??? How come no one told me that when I was making an appointment?

Anyway, Lee came in and asked me why I was here. I told her why. She looked at my throat, my ears, my nose, listened to my lungs and stuff. Then she started to talk nervously. She started to explain why I was coughing. Then she explained why it got worse. By then, I zoned out totally. I couldn’t care less. I just wanted meds. Finally, she finished. Then, here she goes, “This is normal. The cough will eventually go away in 2 to 4 weeks. Just drink tea. Put honey in it. Get yourself some Sudafed.” My jaw dropped on the floor, bounced back, and hit my face so hard that I could not talk. ”You have any questions?” Silence. ”Good. I’ll go get Dr. Pang.” Then she left.

I wanted to scream. What the hell just happened? Where is my prescription? Moments later, Dr. Pang and Dr. Lee both entered the room. Lee started to talk nervously again. She told Pang what happened and what she did. Pang said, “Excellent. Any questions?” I managed to ask, “Do I need any meds? Antibiotics maybe? Or cotton candy?” Pang laughed, but Lee still had that dead-pan face. ”Nope. You’ll be fine,” Pang said. That was it.

I didn’t realize how easy it was to be a doctor. I should have gone to medical school. Now I finally knew.

“Ling-Ling, don’t worry. You and your baby will be fine. It will naturally come out of your tummy. Just eat rice. Oh, and put soy sauce in your rice. It’s good for the baby. Any questions?” - Dr. Doocci.
